Prayer Place
“Prayer was never meant to be incidental to the work of God.
It is the work.” — Arthur Matthews (missionary to China)
We offer several opportunities to practice and grow in our interaction with the Lord and each other through prayer. Asking for prayer and offering prayer will make us a closer family, more in touch with God’s heart.
And those around us will be drawn to Jesus through His family.

Opportunities for Prayer:
1 Submit a prayer request in the offering box on Sunday mornings or to Amy Aker via e-mail or phone (see contact information below). This prayer need will go to the e-Prayer Request Team, made up of members of the church who pray individually for any request that the church receives. Your request will be kept confidential (within this team) unless you give permission to share the prayer need with a larger group. Feel free to share your name or to remain anonymous.
2 Ask for prayer personally on Sunday mornings with 1 or 2 members of the After-Church Prayer Team, who will pray with you at the conclusion of the service.
3 Invite the Home/ Hospital Prayer Team (which includes the elders) to pray for members of the church body and friends or family who need prayer. The team will visit you at home or in the hospital and will usually come in groups of two.
4 Join or start a prayer group which meets weekly to pray for specific requests. Currently, the BreakThrough Prayer Team meets for an hour each week to pray for our church (www.breakthroughprayer.com).
5 Participate in on-going prayer classes to enhance your prayer life individually and corporately. To find out what is available, visit our website regularly.
When you have a need for prayer or would like more information about any of these areas, please contact Prayer Coordinator Amy Aker:
